If you read one chapter of mine thus far I hope it's this one

This is one of my favorite chapters. I really began to feel empowered, and just like a 21 year old, chapter 21 is confident and at a bar. I was definitely showing off to myself through lyrical word play and text action-adventure scenarios, but I was going out in Astoria to catch up with my friend Tim, and our long lost game master Mike. We hadn't really hung out in awhile, and never in a bar in Queens, so it was an adventure for me at the time.

There's also a hint to my ambigious sexuality here, which to a minor extent runs through out the book, but I think it was mostly that I was very appealing to the same sex so it came easy. I mean, I had no idea who I was at this point in my life. I was trying to accept all possibilities and I guess I still am to this day. Only way life makes sense to me.

I also did drive home in prescription sunglasses in my Mitsubishi Eclipse, as those were the only glasses I had, and man were they cheesy. I was trying to be cool, to assume a secret agent mystery to just going out and having a few drinks with friends, but considering the looking back I was doing at the time, I think it was final goodbyes.
